SureCell is a sub-base system from SureSet Permeable Paving. Made from 100% recycled plastic, SureCell is an interconnecting grid structure that creates a stable base without the need for cement or bitumen based products.

SureSet developed the SureCell TradePack following an increase in demand for their sub-base system in a supply only format.

SureCell is laid directly onto compacted stone ready to be in-filled with: vegetation, providing a suitable base for light pedestrian use; gravel, making it suitable for light vehicular traffic or finished with a layer of SureSet resin bound paving, providing a fully permeable surface suitable for heavy vehicular traffic and high footfall.

Technical and environmental information:

  • SureCell has a compressive strength of 400t/m²
  • SureCell is inert and stable and has an expected lifespan of over 50 years
  • CIRIA, the leading body in SuDS research, states that a permeable surface can remove 60-95% of suspended solids and 70-90% of hydrocarbons
  • Building up rather than digging down eliminates potential damage to trees and plants
  • Minimising the use of heavy machinery reduces pollution, the carbon footprint and on-site disruption from dust, erosion and runoff
  • Capturing surface run-off and naturally returning it to the water table eliminates the need for traditional and often expensive drainage systems

Area and cost:

  • Each SureCell TradePack is custom made for your project
  • One pallet is sufficient to install an area up to 36m² (gravel not included)
  • Prices start at £508.68 for one SureCell TradePack (including UK mainland delivery and excluding VAT)

To summarise, SureCell is:

  • Now also available in a TradePack (supply only) format
  • Faster, cheaper and easier to install than most traditional systems
  • Super-strong and high load bearing
  • Has excellent environmental credentials
